The Left Coast White Pinot Noir 2024 is a unique and captivating expression of the Willamette Valley's most famous grape. Produced by Left Coast Estate in Oregon's Van Duzer Corridor AVA, this wine treats a traditionally red fruit with a white winemaking philosophy. The fruit is crushed at extremely cold temperatures to limit skin contact and prevent coloration, ensuring the pure Pinot Noir juice retains its crispness and clarity. What began as an experimental project in 2011 has blossomed into the winery's flagship and most popular offering. In the glass, the 2024 vintage pours a soft gold with subtle silver or pale peachy hues. The bouquet is sweetly scented with a blend of crisp orchard fruits, honeysuckle, and vanilla shortbread, woven alongside complex nuances of chamomile, green apples, and soft spice. Fermented primarily in stainless steel and aged on its lees, the wine beautifully preserves its natural acidity while building a pleasantly textured, layered mouthfeel.
