Château Ducasse is an exceptional, dry Bordeaux Blanc white blend that stands out from typical regional styles due to its high concentration of Sémillon (roughly 60% to 70%), which is expertly balanced with Sauvignon Blanc (30% to 35%) and a small 5% splash of Muscadelle. Cultivated on clay-limestone soils by winemaker Hervé Dubourdieu and imported by Kermit Lynch Wine Merchant, this un-oaked wine offers a unique combination of texture and freshness. Because it is heavily driven by Sémillon rather than being purely Sauvignon Blanc, the wine has a voluptuous, mouth-coating mid-palate and a luxurious texture.
